Production: Textured quinoa flakes are produced from locally grown quinoa seeds by using innovative texturizing technologies. They are stored frozen (-18˚C) but can be used both thawed and frozen.
Size: The size of the textured flakes ranges between 2-20 mm.
Texture: After thawing, they have a firm, meat like bite, which makes perfect to add a chewy, meat-like texture to plant based meat and fish alternatives.
Colour and flavour: They have a beige colour and a neutral & slightly nutty quinoa flavour.
Allergen-free: Quinoa flakes are EU-14 allergen-free (gluten-free <20 ppm).
